To embrace and manifest the beauty of window coverings, we teamed up with fashion photographer Jasper Abels. We gave Jasper a completely free hand to create his interpretation of our design collections and technical innovations. The result is a series of inspiring portraits in which fashion and window coverings come together, based on photography and collage techniques. The portraits, together with the fascinating film, formed the basis of our campaign for the R+T 2018 trade fair in Stuttgart.
For the campaign, Jasper Abels worked with Dutch fashion stylist Maarten Spruyt, who has worked with famous fashion photographers such as Mario Testino, Erwin Olaf and Carli Hermes. Since the nineties, Maarten Spruyt has also been active as a curator. He has worked with the biggest museums in the Netherlands, including the Van Gogh Museum and is inspired by nature, art, film and thrift shops.
Jasper Abels works for internationally renowned fashion magazines, brands and labels as well as for world-famous museums. He is a true rising star in the fashion and art industry, and like us, he resides in the eastern part of the Netherlands. He has set up his creative studio in a large farm in the green countryside and combines nature, surrealism and fashion in his work.
