Coulisse announces the launch of Smart Frame, a motorized frame system designed specifically for tilt & turn windows and doors. Winner of the prestigious R+T Innovation Award 2024, Smart Frame combines effortless installation, premium design, and Motionblinds smart technology. All components - along with compatible pleated and honeycomb fabric collections - are now available from stock and ready to order from Coulisse.
Smart Frame is a click-in frame with magnetic tape that enables installation without drilling, making it ideal for aluminum, plastic and wooden surfaces. The system integrates a specially developed Motionblinds battery motor within the horizontal rails, and a solar panel providing continuous charging.
Users can easily setup and control Smart Frame via Bluetooth by smartphone with the Motionblinds app, automate it with timers, use a remote control, and add the Motionblinds Matter Bridge for seamless integration with leading smart home platforms including Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Samsung SmartThings.

Smart Frame is available as components from stock. With modular parts, custom-made frames can be assembled in various configurations. Choose the single motor (one rail motorized, one manual) or dual motor option (top and bottom rail motorized) - with a push-button function for manual control. The built-in battery charges via solar panel and USB-C, while an integrated lux sensor measures light intensity as a basis for smart automation contributing to energy savings, convenience, and safety.
Smart Frame is available in three timeless finishes - white, off-white, and black - with every visible component precisely color-matched for a clean, unified look. It is fully compatible with Coulisse’s pleated and honeycomb collections in 20 mm and 25 mm widths, including energy-saving and insulating fabrics. This gives specifiers and dealers the freedom to design solutions that are both functional and refined for residential and commercial projects.
