Raleigh, NC – April 23, 2026 – Coulisse is proud to announce that three of its innovations have received WCMA Awards at IWCE 2026, held April 22–23 at the Raleigh Convention Center in Raleigh, North Carolina — including the prestigious WCMA Product of the Year honor for Motionblinds Wired Motors.
Coulisse's Motionblinds Wired Motors was selected as the 2025 WCMA Product of the Year.
“The Motionblinds Wired Motors submission was selected by the judges for its design and innovation. WCMA congratulates the team at Coulisse and all the industry’s engineers and designers on their hard work and their vision.”
— Ralph Vasami, Executive Director, WCMA
The Motionblinds CM-50-E-R (tubular motor for shades) and CM-51-E (motor for curtains) are the only 24V DC wired motors on the market to combine Matter over Thread, RF 433 MHz, and Dry Contact in a single solution. This unique combination delivers future-proof interoperability across smart home ecosystems, while a low-voltage plug-and-play installation system dramatically simplifies setup. The motors extend the Thread mesh network for reliable whole-home performance, offer a rare manual override function, and ensure consistent speed and unlimited runtime for perfectly aligned, trouble-free operation. For integrators and dealers working with wired motor applications, the CM-50-E-R and CM-51-E represent a significant step forward in reliability and flexibility.
Absolute Roman is Coulisse's complete roman shade concept, uniting curated fabrics with premium roman systems and Motionblinds motorization into a seamlessly coordinated offering. At its heart is the new cordless, child-safe Balanced Roman configuration, which enables smooth and intuitive operation without the risks associated with corded systems. For larger windows, Roman XL delivers the same refined aesthetic at scale. Designed for effortless everyday use, Absolute Roman reflects Coulisse's design-driven approach — pairing beautiful fabrics with engineering precision to deliver roman shades that are as functional as they are elegant.
Coulisse's Absolute Silence concept represents a fundamental rethinking of motorized shading acoustics. The system combines patented silent brackets lined with liquid silicone, precision-fit drive plugs that isolate vibration, and acoustically tuned motors — the CM-03, CM-05, and CM-45 — each software-optimized for smooth, click-free motion. Engineered in Coulisse's dedicated sound lab, Absolute Silence delivers up to 15 dB quieter performance compared to standard motors, setting a new benchmark for quiet, automated shading in both residential and commercial environments.
Beyond the award-winning products, Coulisse's IWCE 2026 booth introduces a fresh, elevated design that reflects the brand's continued investment in the customer and dealer experience. Structured around dedicated product zones, the space is designed to let visitors explore the full breadth of Coulisse's offering in a hands-on environment.
The booth features dedicated display tables for four key innovation areas:
A centrepiece of the booth is the Motionblinds display cabinet, which presents motorized roller shades, roman shades, and honeycomb shades in live operation — offering visitors a clear view of how Motionblinds technology performs across different product types. A dedicated fabric cabinet completes the picture.
Roman and soft roman solutions are featured prominently throughout the booth, reflecting the breadth of Coulisse's roman shade range — from the award-winning Absolute Roman and Balanced Roman systems to a wider collection of roman configurations suited to a range of interior styles and budgets.
