Our partner Proye-Sol from the Dominican Republic was inspired by our make an impact campaign in which we presented our eco textiles made from recycled yarns. What started with a simple WhatsApp message to Trashpacker Tijmen Sissing, ended up in two amazing clean-ups at Dominicans most polluted beaches: Playa Gringo and Playa Nigua. Proye-Sol teamed up with the Trashpackers foundation and collected 2020 kilograms of trash together with employees, business relations, family and friends. All of us know that our shared home deserves a lot more care and attention. Cleaning up makes people aware of the effect we have on our surroundings. A great way to make an impact!
